The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association is cancelling the high school spring sports season and tournaments for 2020. The W-I-A-A’s Board of Control met virtually Tuesday and voted to make the decision to scrap spring sports. High school sports have been on hold since the state basketball tournaments were cancelled due to coronavirus. Wisconsin schools are closed for the rest of the year under the safer at home order. The W-I-A-A says 30 days of summer contact will be allowed for spring coaches if they include seniors and abide by the governor’s orders.
