The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is connecting 19 confirmed coronavirus cases to the April 7th spring elections. All of the individuals either cast their ballots in-person or were poll workers. Voters waited six feet apart in long lines wearing pandemic attire like gloves and masks. Now, 19 have tested positive. The D-H-S says several of those people reported other possible exposures. A spokesperson says, “There is no way to know with certainty if any exposures at the polls that are reported are in fact attributable to COVID-19 illness.”
