A Grant County teen is facing charges after allegedly driving under the influence with a minor in the vehicle. Deputies responded to reports of a vehicle in the ditch along Borah Road near Mount Bridge Road near Lancaster. According to a release by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the driver was going north on Borah Road when a front seat passenger attempted to turn off the ignition while the car was in motion. That led to the vehicle veering into a ditch. Authorities say 18-year-old Andrew Steines of Boscobel faces a 1st-offense OWI charge while also having a passenger under the age of 16.
