Multiple individuals have received charges in Crawford County for an alleged stolen trailer that was taken from Prairie Du Chien to Grundy Center, IA. On January 17th Crawford County sheriffs met with the owner of the trailer who claimed the trailer was moved from its storage space without his consent and sustained significant damage. The Sheriffs were able to use a tracking device on the trailer to locate it. As a result, 27-year-old Owen Meester of Holland, Iowa; 24-year-old William Williams of Waverly, Iowa; 20-year-old Ezra Eastlick of Stueben; and 20-year-old Kane Groom of Prairie Du Chiein have been charged with theft of movable property valued between $10,000 and $100,000 as party to a crime as well as criminal damage to property as party to a crime.
