Update on Muscoda ATV Crash

One person remains in critical but stable condition at a Madison Hospital following an ATV Accident in Muscoda March 16th. Further investigation from the Muscoda Police Department indicates 33 year old Matthew Wilkinson of Muscoda southbound on 2nd Street with his 6 year old son riding in front of him on the ATV.  They were traveling about 34 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone just before the crash.  Matthew Wilkinson failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the side of an enclosed trailer traveling westbound.  Wilkinson has received a number of citations including operating an ATV without a valid driver license along with operating in a careless manner.  Neither Matthew or his 6 year old son were wearing helmets.
