A threat was made against the Dodgeville School District through social media Wednesday night, the Dodgeville Police Department. The Police Chief does not believe the threat poses any immediate danger, but there will be extra patrols at the school today. An email from the school said the threat was made on social media by a student who was angry with school administration. Due to the severity of the comments that were made law enforcement officers were notified and conducted an investigation. Parents had the option to keep their kids home today and have it counted as an excused absence.
