Criminal Charges For Mineral Point Man After His Wife Was Sentenced To Prison

Criminal charges have been filed against the husband of a Mineral Point woman who was sentenced to prison earlier this month in a child neglect case. The Iowa County District Attorney’s office charged 44 year old John Ford of Mineral Point with two felonies and a misdemeanor. They include; a threat to a family member of the prosecutor, a threat to a law enforcement officer, and false emergency 911 phone use. According to a criminal complaint, Ford posted remarks on Facebook that law enforcement deemed to be threatening against an Iowa County prosecutor lass than 24 hours after his wife was sentenced to prison. Ford is out of jail after posting a $1,000 cash bond.
