Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted Mineral Point Police Department in conducting a traffic stop Monday around 1:30am near Exit 40 in Mineral Point Township. As a result, 49 year old Corey Burger of Sun Prairie was arrested and taken to the Iowa County Jail and booked on charges of Operating While under the Influence– 4th offense, Operating while revoked, 3 counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, 2 counts of Felony Bail Jumping, Resisting or Obstructing an officer, Ignition Interlock Device Tampering, Fail to install and Ignition Interlock Device, and Violating a Court Order. Burger was later released after posting bond.
