On Wednesday, at approximately 8:25 A.M., 19-year-old Dillon Tennant of Woodman, was driving a truck with a homemade trailer, north on Hwy 133 in Marion Township, when the receiver hitch broke, causing the trailer to fishtail. Tennant crossed the centerline before returning to the north bound lane and then traveled into the east ditch. The truck rolled once and came to rest on its wheels. The trailer stayed connected to the truck, by the use of the safety chains. There was a junked out truck on the trailer, which tipped over onto its side when the truck/trailer came to rest in the east ditch. Tennant was transported to Gunderson Boscobel Hospital with a minor arm injury, by Boscobel EMS. Tennant was wearing his seat belt and no charges will be filed. Terry’s Tire assisted the Tennant family with removing the vehicles/trailer from the scene.
