South Wayne Fire and Green County EMS responded to County Highway D in Wayne Township for an ATV accident Sunday just after 7:30pm. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, 32 year old Josue Salazar of Belvidere, Illinois was traveling east on the Cheese County Trail on an ATV when he lost control and went into the ditch. Salazar had minor injuries and the ATV was driven from the scene with minor damage.
