Disturbance and Arrest in Avoca

A disturbance was reported Saturday around 4:20am on 8th Street in Avoca. Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene and as a result of the disturbance, 28 year old Jerry Wilder of Avoca was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct and a Probation Violation. Wilder was taken to the Iowa County Jail on a Probation and Parole hold where he remains in custody.
