Teens across Wisconsin are being encouraged to enter the annual Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Young Entrepreneur competition, which offers a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship prize. The competition, set for February 21, 2025, in Milwaukee, is open to Wisconsin teens in grades 9-12 who have been operating their businesses since January 2024 or earlier. Junior Achievement is conducting the competition in a “Shark Tank” style event. Four finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses live to a panel of celebrity judges, each hoping to secure the top scholarship prize. In addition to the grand prize of $5,000, three other finalists will receive $1,500 scholarships each, recognizing their entrepreneurial achievements. Teen entrepreneurs interested in participating can apply by visiting the Junior Achievement of Wisconsin website.
