Iowa County investigators charged a woman Monday for homicide in connection to her husband’s death. Iowa County Sheriff’s Office said 67-year-old Kelli Nechkash faces a charge of first-degree intentional homicide. Deputies found a man dead inside a Ridgeway home around 11:20 a.m. Thursday. Officials identified the man as 62-year-old Todd Nechkash Sr., and ruled his death a homicide. The Sheriff’s Office explained Friday that officers arrested Kelli Nechkash, of Black Earth, for sixth offense operating while intoxicated after a crash shortly after 11 p.m. in Mineral Point. Iowa County Sheriff’s Office said evidence it processed in the homicide investigation led them to determine Kelli Nechkash is a suspect in Todd’s death.
