A man from Potosi is seeking his party’s nomination to take on a longtime incumbent in the 49th Assembly district. John Rindy of Potosi is the only Democrat currently running for the seat. Wisconsin Rep. Travis Tranel of Cuba City, has represented the seat since January 2011.
