Iowa County 911 call volume last week

Over the past week, the Iowa County 911 Communication Center handled 665 calls for service. According to a social media post from the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department the leading calls for service were 169 Traffic Stops (TSTOP), 84 Controlled Burns, 36 EMS Calls, 27 Door / Property Checks, and 28 911 Misdials. Year-to-Date there has been 8,958 calls for service and there were 7,496 calls in 2025. That is an increase of 1,462 calls compared to this time last year
