Iowa’s ‘Best Burger’ is in Decorah

The results are in — this year’s Best Burger in Iowa award goes to Dixie’s Biergarten in Decorah for their classic smashburger. The Iowa Beef Council holds the contest each year to find the best burger in the state. The two-patty burger is a proprietary brisket-chuck blend, served with tomato, lettuce, pickles, grilled onions and a house smash sauce on a brioche bun.
