Ikea opening a location in Madison

Hoping for that Ikea fix, but not wanting to drive as far? You’re in luck because  the furniture giant announced plans Thursday to bring a new store to the Prairie Towne Center in Madison. The store will be the chain’s second in the state, joining the Oak Creek location that opened in early 2018. The 54,000 square-foot Madison store will feature fully-furnished room settings with over 5,000 products on display and will also house Ikea’s Swedish deli. The franchise expects to open the new store this fall.
