Dodgeville police issued a Missing Endangered Person Alert on Tuesday for a 53-year-old man last seen in March. Jose Luis Claudio-Pedraza was last seen on March 16 when he dropped his children off with their biological mother in Avoca. Police said Claudio-Pedraza was in a “bad place” on March 30 via text. Claudio-Pedraza, who has brown eyes and black hair, has not been seen or heard from since despite numerous attempts to contact him. He is five feet, seven inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. He may have facial hair. Claudio-Pedraza is known to use drugs, and there is concern he may have overdosed somewhere. He is also known to frequent Dane County. He may be driving a tan Chevrolet Cobalt. Checks of that vehicle show it may have been junked. Anyone with information should contact the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office.
