The Dubuque Fire Department responded to a reported commercial structure fire the Wednesday morning at the Okey Dokey on Hill St. Crews arrived in about three minutes and found no smoke or flames from outside. Firefighters went inside, found a small fire in an interior wall near refrigeration equipment, and quickly put it out. Investigators say minor electrical arcing ignited nearby combustible materials. No injuries were reported. Estimated damage is $4,100 to the building and $5,100 to contents; the property is valued at about $2 million. The department reminds the public unused or modified wiring should be properly terminated and inspected by a qualified electrician.
