Female arrested for OWI after being found unconscious

Just before 8 PM on Friday evening the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a female subject found unconscious outside a business in the 400 block of East Main Street in Avoca. Avoca EMS and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the location. After being evaluated and released by EMS personnel, an investigation was conducted, and the female subject, 41-year-old Dana L Wesoloski was arrested on a criminal charge of Operating While Under the Influence, second offense. Wesoloski was transported to the Iowa County Jail and booked on the charge.
