One injured in vehicle verses buggy crash

One person was injured following a collision between a vehicle and a buggy. Shortly before 6 PM on Sunday emergency personnel responded to Highway 81 in Elk Grove Township for a truck vs Amish buggy accident. 23-year-old Paul W. Keintz of Beloit was traveling on Highway 81 when he failed to yield to an Amish buggy and struck the rear of it. Keintz reported no injuries. 19-year-old Jonas S. Stoltzfus of Platteville, the sole occupant of the buggy, was transported by ambulance to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the crash. Keintz’s vehicle and the buggy sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
