Authorities release name of man killed in Cascade crash

Authorities have released the identity of the person killed in the Dubuque County crash early Friday morning. 26-year-old John Gadient of Cascade was identified as the driver who crashed in the 2900 block of Goose Hill Road in Cascade, IA. The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and Cascade Fire and EMS along with Delaware County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident scene. Gadient’s vehicle left the roadway, traveled through a ditch area and struck a tree. Gadient was pronounced deceased at the scene.
