Illinois woman arrested for drugs in Crawford County

A woman from East Moline was arrested in Crawford County on meth related charges following a weekend traffic stop. On Saturday, a Crawford County Sheriff conducted a traffic stop on Highway 61 in Scott where the driver, 30-year-old Allison Beckman of East Moline, Illinois showed signs of impairment. Beckman failed standardized field sobriety tests and a search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Beckman was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a restricted controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
