Multiple injuries reported from Wiota crash

Multiple people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Wiota Tuesday afternoon. Emergency personnel responded to Walnut RD in Wiota Township for a two-vehicle accident. 57-year-old Torry M Swiggum of South Wayne was traveling westbound on Walnut RD failed to yield from the stop sign and struck 63-year-old Pamela R Wymore of Shullsburg who was driving southbound on Riverside RD. Swiggum was cited for Failing to Yield the Right of Way from a Stop Sign. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department reports that multiple people were transported for injuries following the crash
