Republican legislative leaders accused Governor Tony Evers of missing an opportunity to do the right thing – again. The Democratic governor is being blasted for vetoing a tax cut for Wisconsin families. Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald say Evers is trying to grow state government, whether Wisconsin can afford it or not. Evers says he vetoed the plan because it fails to provide needed funding for Wisconsin schools.
