The Wisconsin state boys and girls basketball tournaments are the latest event to be affected by the coronavirus. General admission tickets won’t be available for the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association tournaments, held March 12-14, at the Resch Center, Green Bay, for girls and March 19-21, at the Kohl Center in Madison, for boys, according to the association. The WIAA said in a press release that the games will be played and teams will be allotted a limited number of tickets per their rosters. Tickets will be given to each team for distribution. The policy limits attendance at the state tournament to 88 tickets per team, two supervisors and a limit of 22 team personnel. The policy will also be in place for the Boys Division 4 Sectional Semi-Final between Cuba City and Darlington at Mineral Point tonight and the Division 5 Sectional Semi-Final tonight at Belmont between Potosi and Wauzeka-Steuben. Pre-sold tickets for tonight’s games will NOT be accepted. The only tickets that will be recognized will be tickets issued today to each of the teams, 88 tickets from each team.
