The Mississippi River at Dubuque is expected to surpass its 17-foot flood stage this week – the National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the river until further notice. The river stood at 16.4 feet as of midday today at Dubuque’s railroad bridge. The weather service predicts the river could reach 19.1 feet by next Wednesday.
