A roughly $1-million dollar operational referendum will be on the ballot for voters in the Wauzeka-Steuben school district on April 7th. The funds are going to be spread over three school years starting this fall. If the referendum is approved – district officials say Wauzeka-Steuben schools will be able to exceed the revenue limit this coming school year by up to $240-thousand dollars. The board could then go above the levy limit by $316-thousand dollars the following year – and by $398-thousand in the third and final year of the referendum.
