Authorities in Crawford County arrested a Pardeeville man Wednesday on theft and drug charges. According to a report from Prairie du Chien Police, officers were called about 9am by employees at Prairie Sand and Gravel. Workers said there was a suspicious person and vehicle on the company’s property. Officers were able to locate the suspected vehicle and pulled it over. Following an investigation, police learned the driver – 30-year-old Devon Bubolz – had stolen scrap metal and copper from the business. They also determined he was under the influence of meth. Bubolz was arrested on charges of 2nd offense operating a motor vehicle with a restricted controlled substance, theft and trespassing.
