A state park in southwest Wisconsin plans a hike and bonfire this weekend in hopes of getting people out and moving in the winter. The free event will take place 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Belmont Mound State Park. Friends of the Belmont Mound State Park will offer hot chocolate and marshmallow roasting at the top of the mound. Snowshoe rentals will be available at the shelter near the parking lot, where games and crafts also will take place.
