Two young kids were seriously injured when they fell off a cliff at Governor Dodge State Park Wednesday afternoon. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office said it received a call around 2:15 p.m. that the kids had fallen from a cliff near Bluff Point Trail. A 4-year-old child fell around 80 feet, while a 6-year-old child fell around 20 feet onto a ledge. MedFlight responded to take one of the kids to a hospital, while Dodgeville first responders took the other to a hospital. The release from the Sheriff’s department did not provide further details about the extent of the kids’ injuries but described them as “serious.”
