Election mailers confusing citizens

The Wisconsin Elections Commission is reminding residents local election clerks and myvote.wi.gov are the best sources of information about voter registration and absentee ballots. The commission and municipal clerks have begun receiving questions and complaints about recent mailings on voter registration and absentee voting because they contain messages, and often errors, about a voter or the voting process. Residents are reminded to check Wisconsin’s official voter registration portal for information and that residents only need to update their registration if they have recently moved or changed their name since participating in the last election.
