Stockton village board seat to be decided by appointment

A seat on a Jo Daviess County village board will be filled by appointment following Tuesday’s election. No candidates filed
for the two-year trustee term on the Stockton Village Board, and Jo Daviess County Clerk Angela Kaiser said that the seat will
need to be filled by appointment. The Stockton board also had three four-year term trustee seats on Tuesday’s ballot, which
were secured by incumbents Mitchell Kappes, Daniel Kunz and Terry Ann McGovern.
