Disturbance Leads To Arrest in Mineral Point

The Iowa County Communication Center received a report of an ongoing disturbance near Dodge Street in Mineral Point Wednesday around 6:30pm. The Mineral Point Police Department and an Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the scene. As a result, 36 year old Benjamin Hammac of Mineral Point was arrested and charged with Misdemeanor Bail Jumping and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. Hammac was booked at the Iowa County Jail where he remains in custody.
