Two teachers from the Mineral Point School District were recently selected as recipients of the 2024 Herb Kohl Foundation Award. Erika Brunson (Middle/High School Counselor) and Kristin Staver (High School English Teacher) have been named winners of the Teacher Fellowship. Brunson and Staver were recognized for their leadership and service within and outside the classroom. The 100 Herb Kohl Fellowship recipients and the 100 Wisconsin schools of those teachers will receive a $6,000 grant. Since 1990, the foundation has awarded nearly $38 million to Wisconsin educators, principals, students, and schools.
