Officials at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in Fennimore have announced details for the school’s spring commencement next month. Commencement ceremonies will be held at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. May 18 in the college’s Ag/Auto Building. Students receiving associate degrees in nursing will have a separate pinning and commencement ceremony at 8 a.m. Each ceremony also will be streamed live on Southwest Tech’s Facebook page. At the 8 a.m. ceremony, the speaker will be Steven Kliebenstein, an associate degree nursing student from Potosi. Information technology and network specialist Jordan Scott, of Muscoda, will speak at the 10:30 a.m. ceremony. At the 12:30 p.m. ceremony, Andrea Carter, of Dallas, Texas, a student in the direct entry midwifery program, will deliver the speech. The speaker at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony will be Ty Gaffney, of Barneveld, a student in the agricultural power and equipment technician program.
