Free Safety Check on Child Car Seats at Crossing Rivers

Installing a car seat may seem simple; however, Safe Kids Worldwide estimates that more than half of car seats are not used or installed correctly. That puts millions of kids in danger while they are on the road. Crossing Rivers Health is partnering with In the Beginnings Child Care and Learning Center to offer free on-site checks on Wednesday, May 10 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. The safety check will be held at Crossing Rivers Health on East Cass Street in Prairie du Chien. Drop-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. The staff’s goal is to teach you how to correctly install your child’s car seat and feel comfortable reinstalling and using it on your own.
