A southwest Wisconsin education agency has received a state grant to support science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics teaching. CESA 3, Cooperative Educational Service Agency 3, based in Fennimore, received over $47,000 through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.’s “fab lab” grant program. The program supports the purchase of equipment for fabrication laboratories, or “fab labs,” which are workshops featuring manufacturing equipment such as 3D printers, laser engravers, computer numerical control routers and plasma cutters.
