Platteville Man Accused Of Stealing From Q Casino

A man from Platteville was arrested last week after being accused of stealing from the Q Casino in Dubuque. 23 year old Trey Bartels of Platteville was arrested at just after 6am Thursday at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on a charge of second-degree theft. Reports say during the month of March, Bartels was working at Q Casino when a customer reported seeing him take two $100 bills and put them into his pocket. Casino officials confronted Bartels, who reportedly admitted to taking the bills. Casino officials who reviewed the surveillance footage found three incidents in March that Bartels took money totaling $1,900.
