No one was injured in a fire at a Dubuque duplex Saturday night. Dubuque Fire Department was called a residence on Francis St. at 7:53 p.m. when a tenant called from the side-by-side duplex reporting a fire. Multiple emergency vehicles and 14 firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Emergency crews were able to knock down the fire within three minutes of arrival. Crews worked to clear the residence of smoke and confirmed no further fire before allowing tenants on both sides to return to their units. No one was injured and the fire’s cause is being investigated by the assistant fire marshal. Damage estimates were less than $2,000.
