Names of Rigdeway homicide victim and suspect released

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department released the names involved in the Ridgeway homicide. 62-year-old Todd Nechkash of Ridgeway was the man found deceased in his house after a welfare check Thursday morning. During the investigation, it was determined Todd Nechkash’s wife, 67-year-old Kelli Nechkash of Black Earth was a suspect. Kelli Nechkash was arrested for 6th  offense OWI following a crash in Mineral Point the night before Todd was found deceased. Todd and Kelli Nechkash are married but maintained separate residences. Formal homicide-related charges are forthcoming in cooperation with the Iowa County District Attorney’s Office.
