Platteville seeks bids for housing development

The City of Platteville is seeking competitive proposals from experienced developers to help the City provide additional housing for the community. The City is looking for development partners for approximately 35 acres of vacant land that it owns on the east side of the City. The land is being made available in 3 sections, but the City will accept proposals from developers interested in purchasing more than one section. The City is willing to provide financial assistance to the selected developer through a tax increment finance district. Proposals are due by March 30, 2026.
