One arrested for OWI following Iowa County traffic stop

Saturday evening an Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Old Main Street near the intersection of Cretney Street in Ridgeway. As a result, the operator, 46-year-old Jacob A Towns was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence, second offense. Towns was transported to the Iowa County Jail and booked in on the charge.
