Man seriously injured in crash near Dickeyville

A 79-year-old man from Southeast Wisconsin remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 151 near Dickeyville Friday night. Authorities report Alan Hensiak was involved in a one vehicle accident on Hill Climb Road when he struck a concrete barrier. For unknown reasons, he left his vehicle and walked onto highway 151, where he was struck by a northbound vehicle. Hensiak was transported to Mercy Medical in Dubuque, then airlifted to Iowa City. No other injuries were reported, and the incident remains under investigation.
