3rd Congressional District Candidate Rebecca Cooke visited farmers in Westby Tuesday to discuss rising costs. The Democrat’s visit was part of her 19-county tour across the district. Cooke says her campaign focuses on challenges facing small town and rural communities. The visit comes as average diesel prices hit a record high in Wisconsin just a day prior. Cooke says withdrawing from the war could result in prices lowering again. Rebecca Cooke will face off against Emily Berge, Rodney Rave, and Melvin Marin in the Democratic primary August 11.
