The Platteville Fire Department and other area fire departments responded to a fire at Mound View Inn in Platteville Sunday morning. Reports say the fire started in the laundry room at the motel. As a result, motel customers have been relocated to the Quality Inn and Suites at Belmont for any current reservations. Meanwhile, Mound View Inn is closed until further notice. No injuries have been reported from the fire.
