Grant County Sheriff Starting Move To New Office

Members of the Grant County Sheriff’s Department say that the move to their new facility has begun. According to a social media post, during this time there will be staff at both the current and new facilities. Staff asks that you be patient while the department works to make the full transition over the next few months. If you need records or civil process – they’re at the new building along Highway 35-61 south of Lancaster. If you need to speak with anyone in the office, you can still call 608 – 723-2157 and your call will be directed to the appropriate person no matter which building they’re in. Dispatch and the jail will still be located at the current jail site on North Adams Street in Lancaster. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office will provide updates when that move will take place.
