Platteville Woman Arrested on Drug Charges

A woman from Platteville was arrested in Belmont early Saturday. A deputy responded to Highland Street in Belmont to assist the Belmont Police Department with a traffic stop around 12:45am . As a result. 22 year old Brook Minett of Platteville was arrested for Possession of Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Probation and Parole violation.  Minett was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where she remains in custody.  Shullsburg Police Department assisted at the scene.
