School officials in Dodgeville have decided that classes district-wide will be done online-only through the end of November. In an email to parents, it was announced that six Dodgeville staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. Following those test results, many students and staff are being asked to quarantine. School officials say being able to adequately staff in-person instruction has become a concern. That led to the district to switch to a virtual instructional model for all grade levels. The change begins October 29 and continues through November 30. District buildings will also be closed to students, staff and visitors through November 12 for deep cleaning. School offices will open again November 2 for parents to call with questions. Dodgeville school officials say they will monitor the situation and determine if it is safe to resume school on December 1.
