Vehicle Strikes Tree, Driver Arrested for OWI

The Grant County Sheriff’s department responded to a one-vehicle accident on South Ohio Street in Muscoda Sunday around 3am. An investigation found that 49 year old Laura Jean Krueger of Muscoda had driven off the road and struck a tree near the westbound lane of South Ohio Street. Krueger was found to have been impaired during the investigation and was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated. Krueger was transported by Muscoda EMS to Boscobel Gunderson Hospital for her injuries. Assisting at the scene was the Muscoda Police Department, Muscoda EMS, and Wagner Auto Service. This case remains under investigation at this time.
